I would really like to get rid of this stuff. It's been cluttering up my storage space for too long.

If you're interested...or know someone who might be interested...please PM me for additional info.

Original HD leather jacket - $275 - Excellent condition, rarely worn, still have original tags, originally $400. Size is "XL_REG" on the tag...maybe 42-44...I wear 42 and it's got plenty of room.

Bell HD helmet - $50 - (you can have the skull bucket for free with the Bell) a couple small scratches on the paint...real good shape with sun shade-type visor. Size is "L"...large.

Original HD embroidered Sportster seat - $75 - leather is in excellent condition, originally $175, I had to re-staple the leather on the bottom of the seat, but not altered at all...just re-stapled. The embroidered HD logo is original, not after-market

Thanks

Somebody get married, sell the bike, and buy a minivan??

(Just kidding.)

Those are good prices.
Good luck in your commercial venture, sir.
:salute:

None of the above... :D

I had a HD back in the 90's; got rid of it a long time ago. However, I still have all this miscellaneous equipment laying around. So, I'd like to get rid of it before I PCS overseas.

Just messing with you man.

Or maybe I was projecting my own personal pain onto you.

I married my wife/best friend in 1999, but in order to move from our respective hovels (in The Heights and the North Shore), and into a decent house in Wahiawa, I had to sell my Suzuki GSX 1100GP.
(Moving expenses, utilities deposits, etc, yatta yatta.)

To this DAY, I still read the cycle rags, turn a wistful eye toward the passing Kawasaki or Honda, and dream about the day when I get the last daughter thru college, and I buy my KTM Duke.

I still have my full compliment of helmets, leathers, kidney belt, gloves, reflector belts, etc etc.

Kind of pathetic, I know.

*sigh*

I feel your pain, Brother Sparky!

This is just my opinion...and, I don't know what your finances, lifestyle, goals are like...But, if you have "the itch" (no not THAT itch)...I would suggest you look into the Kawasaki ZRX1200.

When my wife and I started having kids, I gave up bikes (about 7 years ago). But, I just haven't been able to shake 'em. SO, I recently picked up a new ZRX...and I love it!

I actually spend most of my online-time on the

ZRX Owner's Association (http://zrxoa.org/) website.

If you have any desire to ride again...look into this bike.

Now, my son is getting old enough to ride, so I even bought him a new dirt bike. Gonna start teaching him next month.

The ZRX is a crotch-rocket in disguise. ZX-11 motor, ZX-9 brakes, but it's design is based on the Eddie Lawson replica bikes of the early 80s. Oh, did I say that it runs like a frickin' raped ape?

It actually has a very comfortable riding position. Many of the guys who ride it are...uh..."mature" enough to appreciate a great ergo-designed rocket that can keep up with just about bike on the street...well, except the 'busas.

Anyway, cruisers can't carve up the twisties like a sport bike. :D

The gibberish has me confused :wacky: , but "no", I don't ride with a kidney belt on the street.

However, leather is essential!
